WEDDING CEREMONY

TRAVEL & LODGING

DRESS CODE

OTHER QUESTIONS:

Q: Is that Ivorie’s real wedding dress on the website?
A: Nope! Those photos are from a styled shoot we modeled for to help another wedding venue show off their space. A friend invited us and we said yes, so we got to be models for a day. You’ll see her real dress for the first time during the ceremony!

Q: When is the wedding?

A: Monday, November 10, 2025.

Q: Where is the wedding taking place?

A: The wedding will be held at Ocoee Lakeshore Center, located at 125 North Lakeshore Dr., Ocoee, Florida 34761 — a beautiful suburb just outside Orlando.

Q: What time should I arrive?

A: Please plan to arrive between 2:00 PM and 2:40 PM. Doors will close at 2:45 PM, and the ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00 PM.

Q: How long will the ceremony and reception last?

A: The ceremony is expected to last about one hour, and both the ceremony and reception will take place at the same location — no travel needed once you arrive!

Q: Is there a dress code?

A: Yes — wedding attire is requested. No jeans. Please wear a formal suit, tuxedo, or dress in gold, black, or white. Ladies, let’s save white dresses for the bride so she can shine!

Q: Will there be a reception afterward?

A: Yes! The reception will take place right after the ceremony — no travel needed. The ceremony will be held outdoors, and the reception will be in the indoor ballroom at the same venue.

Q: What should I do if I have questions or need to get in touch?

A: We’ll assign a designated point of contact to help with any questions the day before and day of the wedding. Their info will be emailed to you one week before and again just before the big day. Please avoid contacting the bride or groom directly — we’ll make sure you’re in the loop!

Q: How do I RSVP?

A: You can RSVP in three ways: 1) Return the physical RSVP card by mail, 2) Scan the QR code on the back of your card to RSVP online, or 3) Visit our wedding website to RSVP through the same form. Any of those options work!

Q: When is the RSVP deadline?

A: Please RSVP by October 10, 2025 — one month before the wedding.

Q: Can I bring a plus one?

A: Yes, you are welcome to bring a plus one! Just make sure to include their name on your RSVP so we can count them in for seating and food.

Q: Are kids allowed?

A: Yes, children are welcome! If your child is under 5, we kindly ask that you step out during the ceremony if they become restless so everyone can enjoy the moment.

Q: What if I have dietary restrictions?

A: There will be vegetarian and non-vegetarian options available. If you have specific allergies, please note them when you RSVP so we can accommodate you!

Q: Can I change my RSVP later?

A: Yes, you can update your RSVP as long as it’s before the October 10 deadline. Just be sure to contact us directly so we can make the necessary changes on our end.

Q: What airport should I fly into?

A: We recommend flying into Orlando International Airport (MCO), which is the closest and most convenient option. That said, feel free to choose the airport that works best for you — just make sure you arrive on time!

Q: Are there hotel room blocks or recommendations?

A: Yes! We’ve reserved a block of rooms at a nearby hotel to help keep friends and family together for the weekend. You can reserve your room using our special booking link here:

https://www.marriott.com/event-reservations/reservation-link.mi?guestreslink2=true&id=1754072986258&key=GRP

No payment is required upfront. Reservations must be made by September 23 to secure the group rate. After that, rooms will be released to the public, and availability isn’t guaranteed.

Q: How far is the venue from the airport and from the hotel?

A: Orlando International Airport (MCO) is about 25 miles or roughly a 30-minute drive to the Ocoee Lakeshore Center. The hotel is just 5 minutes away from the venue.

Q: Will transportation be provided between the hotel and the venue?

A: No transportation will be provided. If you need a ride or help getting to the venue, just contact your designated point of contact and they’ll assist you.

Q: What are the best options for getting around?

A: We recommend traveling by car. Whether rental, rideshare, or personal vehicle, driving is the most flexible and efficient way to get around.

Q: Are there things to do nearby while we’re in town?

A: Yes! We’ll be hosting a few events leading up to the wedding to make this an unforgettable weekend — so get ready to have fun and celebrate with us! On top of that, the Orlando area is full of amazing attractions. Walt Disney World is just a short drive away, and other local favorites include Universal Studios, ICON Park, and Lake Apopka for nature lovers. Whether you’re into theme parks, shopping, or just relaxing by the water, there’s something for everyone to enjoy while you’re here!

Q: Is parking available on-site?

A: Yes! Parking is available at the venue and completely covered by the bride and groom — no cost to you. Just show up, park, and enjoy the celebration!

Q: Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

A: Yes, the venue is fully wheelchair accessible to ensure all guests feel comfortable and welcome.

Q: Will the ceremony and reception be at the same location?

A: Yes — both the ceremony and reception will be at Ocoee Lakeshore Center. Once you park, you’re good to go — no need to travel between locations.

Q: What happens if it rains?

A: Don’t worry — we’ve got a backup plan! While the ceremony is planned outdoors, we’ll move everything inside if there’s any threat of rain. We’ll keep guests updated on the weather as the big day approaches.

Q: Are you registered anywhere?

A: Yes! We’ve created a wedding registry to help make gift-giving easy. You can view it here:

https://www.amazon.com/wedding/registry/D7XUNMC86JKD

If you’re unsure what to get, cash gifts are also greatly appreciated. Whatever you choose to give, we’re just grateful for your love and support!

Q: Can I bring a gift to the wedding?

A: We kindly ask that all gifts be sent through our registry or mailed directly to us. Since we’ll be flying to the wedding, we won’t have space in our luggage to take physical gifts home — and we’d rather save that space for our own clothes (and maybe some cake leftovers 😉).

Q: What if I want to give a cash gift or contribute another way?

A: We’d truly appreciate contributions to our honeymoon fund! Helping us take the trip of our dreams means the world to us. If you feel led to give, this is actually more meaningful than a physical gift. Details for contributing will be available through our registry and wedding communication.
